Achievements and Experience

January 2023 - Present

VR Director & Developer

· Directed the development of an indie VR game demo in communication and tasks assignments with college students and graduates from visual development teams and 3D teams

· Prototyped the core mechanism of gameplay and created tools for artists to utilize and compress assets under studio’s technical standards for VR optimization

· Developed tools for Unreal Engine and Maya in Editor Utility Widget and Python, aiding 3D artists in asset management and export support

August 2023 - May 2024

VR Developer

· Created a VR Third-Person Fighting Game with Environment Art & Metahuman Character.
· Created Demos of VR Prototypes of Horror Games.

May 2023 - August 2023

Material Visualization Intern

· Created complete Unreal Engine Cadillac Lyriq configurator independently with provided car data, and purchased plugins, for internal presentation of preset color, material, and finishes.
· Developed Cadillac-aesthetic UI and customization plugin for the configurator, allowing Cadillac Color, Material, Finishes designers to create new combinations of design options for potential internal creation use.

Technical Designer

· Created Prototype of A VR Third-Person Fighting Game with Navigation, Locomotion, Combat System, and Enemy AI.
· Built Tech Art Tools Covering Material, UE Assets, UE Actors, Procedural Generation, Maya Python. and Optimization.

· Created 3D assets for a biome environment with Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Designer in 3D Course
· Built an exploration game with lighting, animation, VFX, and audio designs on Unreal Engine 4 in Game Design Course

June 2018 - January 2019

Game Designer

· Self-taught Blender to basic 3D modelling, material editing, and photo rendering
· Designed independently a parkour game through Blender and Unity3d

December 2017 - January 2018

Game Developer

· Studied basic manipulations in Unity3D such as importing resources, implementing scripts, packaging, etc.
· Learned some C# language that functions as character movement, object destruction, patrolling AI, etc.
· Developed one 3D video game, and one VR shooting game with free online models and textures through Unity3d
